Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach VS Ariadna Gutierrez: Miss Universe 2015 Winner Won’t Share Crown With Miss Colombia

Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez stated in an interview with a Colombian radio station that she hoped she could share the crown with Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach. However, in a recent guesting at "Good Morning America," the rightful owner of the Miss Universe crown does not think it is a great idea.

Pia said it is going to be difficult for two girls to share one crown. "I think it would be a little bit difficult for two girls to share a crown," the 26-year-old Filipina model-actress said on the first day of her year-long reign. "It's a little bit heavy, but I'm not complaining. It can stay there for a long time," she said of the estimated $300,000- worth diamond crown.

During her appearance in GMA, Pia also stated that she "greeted" Miss Colombia on her birthday and asked her how she was going. "She seems like she is ok," she said. "I understand how she feels. I'm also concerned."

Pia also said that Ariana is a beautiful young lady who possess a lot of talent, hence she is confident that she will have a lot of other opportunities in the near future. "She'll do very well, I'm sure."

When asked if she still thinks Miss Universe 2015 host Steve Harvey would return to host again, Pia said she thinks it is okay." "Yeah, why not?" she said. "I think he's a breath of fresh air, he made us feel very relaxed, the contestants. It makes us show our personalities a little bit more. I think that benefits everybody, especially the viewers."

To recall, Steve corrected himself after announcing the wrong winner during the coronation night of Miss Universe 2015, which Pia really appreciated. Per International Design Times,  the Filipina beauty said she understands that it is the "Family Feud" host's first time to host a pageant.

"Maybe the way it was written, it was a little confusing," Pia stated. "I understand. It was his first time to judge a pageant, but it's OK. He's human. People make mistakes."
