Recent reports suggested that fans should expect a thinner and lighter MacBook Pro this 2016. Also, Apple is serious on providing a better battery life for its upcoming products which could match its new powerful processor called Intel Skylake.

The BitBag shared that there will be available Core m5/m7 chips with the 14nm fabrication process for the upcoming MacBook Pro series. To date, the present MacBook Pro have 4nm Broadwell-Y Core M processor, 8 GB/16 GB 1600 MHz LPDDR3 and Intel HD Graphics 5300.

As per Gospel Herald, the new line of MacBooks will feature a headphone jack and a USB-Type C port, which will offer power, HDMI and VGA capabilities, DisplayPort 1.2 and USB 3.1 in just one single port.

There are also reports claiming that Apple had secured a solar-related patent recently. Hence, it could be possible that MacBook Air 2016 and MacBook Pro 2016 are going to be solar-powered.
