'Modern Family' Season 7 Spoilers, Cast & News Update: Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez Plays Gloria's Sister; Sofia Vergara Leaving ABC Sitcom?

The latest "Modern Family" season 7 spoilers suggest that Miss Universe 2015 runner up Ariadna Gutierrez may guest star in the coming episodes as Sofia Vergara's twin.

According to Australia Network, Vergara, who plays Gloria Pritchett in the ABC sitcom, recognized the uncanny resemblance between her and Gutierrez. The actress added that Miss Colombia will be perfect to play her sister (or even herself) in the series.

"I think she will be a great Gloria. I am already teaching her how to fake her accent," Vergara shared.

Vergara is among one of the firsts to extend her support towards Gutierrez following the mishap. After the competition, the actress immediately took to Twitter to console Gutierrez. She posted "La Reina de todos modos," which translates to "The Queen either way."

Gutierrez also recently signed up with Vergara's manager Luis Balaguer, so it's definitely possible that fans will get to see her in the coming episodes. Spoilers suggest that she may play either Gloria's sister or possibly one of his brother's wife.

Meanwhile, Latin Times speculated that Vergara was only "training" Gutierrez because she wanted her to replace her on the show. It was said that after seven seasons, the Colombian star is ready to leave the series.

The report, however, seemed a bit far-fetched given that Vergara has always been very vocal about her admiration towards the show, its cast and crew and their fans.

Back in April, Vergara told E! Online that she will get "very sad" if ABC decides cancel the "Modern Family." She said that it was her "favorite kind of work" because it was incredibly easy to do. She added that she will miss the entire cast, especially Ed O'Neill, who plays her husband, when the time comes.
