NBA Trade Rumors: Chicago Bulls Unhappy With Derrick Rose? Jimmy Butler & Pau Gasol Lose Faith In Rose?

If the latest NBA trade rumors are to believed then sooner or letter NBA All-Star point guard Derrick Rose will be off of the Chicago Bulls' roster. Rose's teammates are reportedly fed up with the former MVP and his performances have been described by some pundits as "unstable" at best.

Reports from Movie News Guide suggest that Bulls' shooting guard/small forward Jimmy Butler and forward/center Pau Gasol have lost their faith in Derrick Rose. With Rose often being touted as the de facto leader of the current Chicago Bulls, there is no wonder that they sometimes fail to function as a single unit in his absence. The more serious problem is that Rose has been notoriously prone to picking up injuries over the past couple of seasons.

According to the Gospel Herald, Jimmy Butler has been more dominant on the court this season and Pau Gasol has slowly been improving despite his age. Because of these recent spikes in performance, it is believed that the Bulls no longer have a need for Rose and are looking to invest in a more consistent player. Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg is expected to make significant changes throughout his team during this season.

Derrick Rose is set to undergo an MRI scan for soreness in his right knee. He has missed his third consecutive game due to this soreness, which is said to be caused by a hamstring problem. Rose had already torn his left ACL in 2012, his right medial meniscus in 2013, and had another meniscectomy on his right knee less than a year ago.

"I feel good. I feel all right. I just overworked myself. I gotta figure out the days where I'm going to sit. I have to do a little bit better. But the games I have rolling, just tried to give myself a little bit more than I had. And it backfired on me,"  Rose said in a recent interview with ESPN. "Tomorrow the MRI. I know everything's going to be fine. But it's more reassurance."

There is no news as to when Rose will make his return after his latest injury. If he ever makes his return, there is a chance that it will no longer be with the Chicago Bulls.
