Kris Jenner Advices Kim Kardashian Not to Get Married

Kris Jenner has a piece of advice for her daughter-turned-mother Kim Kardashian - do not get married.

Yes, you read that right. The famous momager, after reportedly persuading Kim to sell her daughter North West's photos to newspapers, is now telling her to avoid marriage over fears of getting divorced again, reports HollywoodLife.com.

Kim and beau Kanye West welcomed their first child, North, on June 15. The two seem to be ecstatic over the arrival of the new member in the family. It was also reported that Kanye was planning to propose marriage to Kim soon. But 57-year-old Jenner doesn't seem to be cool with the idea.

"Kris is encouraging the couple to NOT get married. After Kim's last, 72-day, marriage, Kris feels like the Kardashian brand does not need another marriage disaster on its hands. She is telling them to take their time, to really think about it. A third divorce for Kim, is not something Kris wants for her daughter or her family business," a source told Naughty But Nice Rob.

A family friend revealed that everyone in the Kardashian family wants Kim to be happy. However, they also tell her that happiness does not necessarily lie in marriage. "Kim adores Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, which is why her mom is using them as an example of how you can be a solid, committed couple, without having to say 'I do.' Kris originally used Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell as an example of a great couple that never got married, but Kim had no idea who these two were!" HollywoodLife quoted the friend as saying.

In 2000, the 32-year-old reality star married Damon Thomas but was divorced four years later. Kim then had the infamous 72-day marriage with Kris Humphries in 2011. She was criticized by people for taking marriage lightly. Humphries, reportedly, said that he felt Kim married him for publicity.
