Kim Kardashian Enjoying Motherhood

Kim Kardashian is a happy mom.

The 32-year-old gorgeous television star and her boyfriend Kanye West welcomed their first child June 15. The baby was due in July, but came more than four weeks early.

The socialite has been maintaining a low profile since she became a mom.

After the baby's arrival, it was only on June 27 that Kim first time appeared on a social networking site.  She had taken to her twitter account to convey wishes to her younger sister, Khloe Kardashian who turned 29 years-old on the day.

Media reported that Kim is overjoyed with her daughter's arrival and that she is in love with her bundle of joy. However, until date, she has been keeping completely mum about her new status as a mom and her daughter baby North West.

Breaking the long silence, Wednesday, July 17 the new mom thanked her well wishers and gave a small glimpse of herself in her new mommy avatar on her official blog.

 "Hey guys, These past couple of weeks have been filled with the most exciting experiences of my life. I'm enjoying this time to fully embrace motherhood and spend time at home with my family," she wrote, in a blog, titled, "Thank You."

"I've been reading all of your messages and want to thank you all for your sweet thoughts and best wishes. It truly means everything to me. I am so blessed to have the support of my family and fans in this beautiful moment. Xo With love, Kim."

Baby North West is the first child of the celebrity couple who started dating in April 2012. Kim and West confirmed the baby news in December 2012.
