‘Sense8’ Season 2 Release Date, Cast & Update: Show to Premiere Late 2016? Will Stays Connected to Whispers? [Spoilers]

"Sense8" Season 2 is one of the most highly-anticipated sequels to come out since Netflix announced its renewal last Aug. 2015. While the cast and crew are expected to return on set in March, when is the earliest possible release date of the series?

"Sense8" may return to Netflix with new episodes for Season 2 at a later date. This might disappoint several fans who have been expecting that the upcoming season of the Netflix original series will be released in June 2016.

Series writer Bryce Olin revealed via a Reddit post that while everyone wants to see "Sense8" Season 2 this June, they may have to wait a little longer for that.

"I really hope Netflix can release Sense8 Season 2 in June, but simple math suggests we really shouldn't 'expect' to see Season 2 until much later in the summer or fall of 2016," he said, as quoted by Blasting News.

June really is not a sensible release date for "Sense8" Season 2, given the fact that the cast and crew have not yet started filming the main scenes for the upcoming season. Add this to the fact that the show is filmed on several locations, which requires longer production time.

While fans still have quite a long waiting to do for the show's return on Netflix, one of the questions surrounding Will's state was raised on International Business Times.

According to the publication, in "Sense8" Season 1, Will (Brian J. Smith) decided to sedate himself after realizing that he and Whispers (Terrence Mann) shared some eye contact, and therefore, became connected with each other.

This was done in order to protect the other Sensates and keep Whispers from knowing and hearing whatever Will hears and sees.

Given this scenario, will he remain sedated in season 2 or if the others will find a way to solve the problem?
