'Supernatural' Star Jared Padalecki Confirms Second Pregnancy

"Supernatural" star Jared Padalecki is going to be a dad again.

Reports about the actor expecting his second baby emerged Friday, after he was seen cradling his wife Genevieve Cortese' s, not-very-visible baby bump, at the Maxim, FX and Fox Home Entertainment Comic-Con party in San Diego, Calif.

The actor, who turned 31, July 19 confirmed on Twitter Sunday that his wife is pregnant with their second child.  The couple, who tied the knot in February 2010, already have a baby boy named Thomas Colton (16 months).

"@realGpad We got a LOT of questions this weekend about my wife and whether or not we wanted another child. Well, we want everybody 2 know th," he wrote, without completing the sentence, later adding that, "Shoot! I got on a plane and THEN realized that my tweet wasnt finished!Not used to this 140 character thing. I confirm that Genevieve is pre," he wrote, second time also leaving the sentence in a half way.

The expecting actor re- confirmed the news by posting his toddler's photo, holding an ultrasound image of the actor's second baby.  "@realGpad  Ok, ok! For real: here is Thomas with his future sibling :) (toms the one in the superman shirt),"  he wrote.

The proud dad is definitely going to have a hard time ahead, as he had earlier revealed how he can't stand it when his son falls sick.

"He just got sick for the first time. It's a really vulnerable feeling when your kid gets sick because you can't really do anything," the "Gilmore Girls" fame told People magazine at the People's Choice Awards, in January.

Padalecki, who entered the film world with the 1999 movie "A Little Inside", shot to fame with his role in the television series "Gilmore Girls" and films like "House of Wax".

However, it has been quite the baby time on the sets of "Supernatural". Padalecki's co-star, Jensen Ackles and Danneel Harris welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Justice Jay in June.
