The hype for the upcoming "Red Dead Redemption 2" boosted when the game is confirmed and later revealed that two new characters will also be introduced. Now, new reports claimed that the new and forthcoming installment of "Red Dead Redemption" will be released in October.

Cross Map revealed that an unnamed former developer from Rockstar confirmed that "Red Dead Redemption" has been developing the upcoming game for four years already and it will be unveiled within this year.

The claims of the said source were backed up by another two former employees of Rockstar. Danny Ross hinted on a radio show the possibility of "Red Dead Redemption 2."

A fan asked Danny about his work and probed about his past job and what gamers should expect from his previous company, Rockstar Games.

"Hey Danny, long time/first time...fuck this O&A nonsense and lets get to some real news. WTF does Rockstar have on deck?," the listener asked Danny, who used to work on "Opie & Anthony." "Really? Dumbass. Really? Two," he responded to the query.

Also, a Reddit user under the name AnonDN1978 made huge revelations about the upcoming game. The source, who claimed to be a former Rockstar developer, divulged that the title of the forthcoming installment is "Red Dead Redemption 2: Legends of the West."

Aside from that, it was revealed that "Red Redemption 2" is a sequel to the first game. Also, it is said to be coming to latest consoles and will be followed by a PC release a month after the console release.

Meanwhile, VineReport claimed that the highly-anticipated game will be announced and unveiled very soon. Though it might take several months or years, several fans are positive that "Red Redemption 2" will be released this year.

To date, no official word from the developer has been released yet. All fans could do at the moment is wait until everything will be finalized.
