'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Release Date, Cast, Plot & Update: New Season Teased in New Promos, Featuring Houses Stark, Lannister & Targaryen [Spoilers]

New "Game of Thrones" Season 6 trailers were unveiled by HBO on Friday, January 22.  It was revealed some threats from a few of key faces, as per Us Magazine.

Fans advertised the hit drama series' April 24 return and their support for the Lannisters, Targaryens and Starks via Twitter post. They also got a corresponding video with that house's flag and a threatening note from an opponent.

Movie Web reported that the "Game of Thrones" clip focusing on House Lannister displayed a shredded version of the Lannister flag. It was with the voice of Jonathan Pryce as the High Sparrow telling that the Sparrows can "overthrow an empire" even though they are poor with no power.

As we hear the voice of Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) stating that "Winterfell is mine," the Stark family flag is also in ruins. Since it features the voice of a mystery Dothraki character, presumably talking to Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), the Targaryen clip makes it a bit more interesting.

"You are nobody," the unknown voice tells her that. "The millionth of your name. Queen of nothing."

Fans will be presented to number of new faces this season. That includes Max von Sydow as the Three-Eyed Raven, Ian McShane in an unspecified role and Pilou Asbæk, who has been rumored to be playing Euron Greyjoy, the uncle of Alfie Allen's Theon Greyjoy.

Richard E. Grant and Essie Davis are also taking the role of members of a theater troupe who are putting on a play about famous figures in Westeros, with James Faulkner, Samantha Spiro and Rebecca Benson appear as the father, mother and sister of Samwell Tarly (John Bradley). It was reported recently that "Spartacus: Vengeance" star Joseph Naufahu has come aboard, rumored to be playing a Dothraki warrior.

"Game of Thrones" Season 6 will premiere on HBO. It is dated on April 24, 2016 at 9 p.m.
