Neil Patrick Harris And David Burtka Enjoy Breakfast In Bed Amidst Winter Storm Jonas Thanks To Their Twins

Neil Patrick Harris surely had a pretty wonderful weekend despite being caught in the middle of the heavy winter storm. Winter Storm Jonas beat the East Coast and its surrounding states heavily but Harris and his husband, David Burtka, were still able to enjoy breakfast in bed, courtesy of their twins. The family currently resides in New York.

As reported by ET Online, their children, Gideon Scott and Harper Grace, both 5, prepared a huge breakfast feast for their dads. The "How I Met Your Mother" actor captured the adorable act and shared the snap on his Instagram account last Saturday morning. In the photo, the twins can be seen embracing, with Harper kissing her brother on the cheek. Included in the picture is of course, the meal they prepared for their parents.

Harris captioned the photo, "Breakfast in bed, made by these two beauties!" The actor continued to express how grateful he was and shared how wonderful it was to wake up to not only the twins and the breakfast they prepared but also with David beside him.

The twins prepared a huge breakfast meal on a tray, which gave Harris and Burtka a few breakfast meal options. According to E!, they were given a bowl of fruit, topped with granola and yogurt, another bowl of apple slices, which appeared to be covered in what looks like crunchy peanut butter, cinnamon or chocolate pudding, a small bowl which contained a few blackberries, two cinnamon buns and a single granola bar.

The kids, of course, also included a glass half-full of water and a mug, which showed a photo of the adorable family, as well as the word, "Papa." To complete their breakfast in bed experience, the sweet twins included a blue vase, which contained two flowers.

Harris also shared another photo which showed the streets of Harlem covered in snow. New York has been experiencing a "snowmageddon" with snow falling at a rate of three inches an hour.
