Evan Rachel Wood and Husband Jamie Bell Welcome Baby Boy

Actress-singer Evan Rachel Wood and husband Jamie Bell are now proud parents of a baby boy. Wood gave birth to their first child Monday.

The 25-year-old actress took to Twitter to announce the happy news. "Its a boy!! Song of the day "beautiful boy" #johnlennon," she tweeted.

A representative of the new parents confirmed the news to People magazine. "Evan Rachel Wood and her husband Jamie Bell are parents to a beautiful boy. Parents and baby are all doing well," the rep said.

The young couple, who got married last October, announced the pregnancy in January. Wood talked about how she enjoyed pregnancy. "I was excited once I popped because it's really something you can hold and be proud of and I've just kind of embraced all the mini changes that happen," she said, "so I'm enjoying I," she told HuffPost Celebrity.

In April "The Conspirator" actress said that whenever she felt her baby move, she felt happy and al her angst went away. She told E! during her finally days in pregnancy that she would simply "sit, cook and wait."

Wood, who has been nominated for Golden Globes, recently tweeted that she missed weed during pregnancy. "Whoa. Whoa. Peanut Butter Pop Tarts?! Of course, because I can't smoke any weed right now. Dammit!"

Last year August, Wood tweeted that she is bisexual. Wood's has acted in The Wrestler,, Thirteen and True Blood. Her 27-year-old husband Bell is known for his roles in  Billy Elliot, Jumper and The Adventures of Tintin.
