'Star Wars: Battlefront' DLC Update, Features & Release Date: New DLC Pack Features Revealed! New Tattoine Map, Luke & Leia Clothes & More!

Several fans are now excited to download and experience the much-anticipated "Star Wars: Battlefront" DLC update. However, before it will be released, here are the things every avid fan should know.

Release Date

New reports claimed that the launching of "Star Wars: Battlefront" DLC update is happening very soon. As a matter of fact, WCCF Tech claimed that the release is set to happen within this month and that Season Pass will not cover the all the DLC's features. Aside from that, it is has not been confirmed whether or not the features are part of any expansion packs that must be purchased for additional contents.

DLC Features

The hype for the DLC update boosted when a video about the "Star Wars: Battlefront" was leaked. PlayStation Lifestyle reported that EA Brazil confirmed the release of the said downloadable content via a now-deleted video post. While many fans missed the leaked video, some were able to get the vital details such as the features to be expected in the DLC packs which include private matches, daily challenges, new clothes for Luke and Leia from the films, a new Tatooine map and special community events.

"Battle of Jakku"

Though no official details were confirmed yet, EA already announced last week that "Battle of Jakku" DLC will be included in the rumored January update. "While we do not have a specific day, date, or time to share right this moment, I can say this update is coming," "Star Wars: Battlefront" community manager Sledgehammer 70 announced via the official EA site.

Sledgehammer 70 also said that gamers will also be getting their Heroes' Holiday reward and some rewards that s related to Luke Skywalker and Han Solo within this month. With regards to its features, "Battle of Jakku" DLC update us reported to include new game modes and two new maps for Walker Assault and Supremacy.

Moreover, Gotta Be Mobile reported that more updates are expected for the free DLC update. To recall, EA previously announced that it will be adding new characters, maps, expansion packs and game modes.
