Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner Divorce: Couple To Reconcile? ‘Alias’ Star May Call Off Divorce From ‘BvS’ Actor

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner may have another shot at forever. The sliver of a silver lining comes from reports that Jennifer Garner no longer wants to follow through with divorcing estranged husband Ben Affleck.

Their 10-year marriage was disrupted when Garner and Affleck finally decided to part ways in June 2015. In subsequent months, any hope for the "Alias" actress and the "Batman Vs Superman" star of ever reconciling seemed slim to none.

An exclusive by Radar Online, however, reports that Garner may have had a change of heart and is looking at making another go at her marriage with Affleck. "Jen really thinks there is a chance they can fix their relationship," a source close to Garner and Affleck told Radar Online.

Apparently, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's attempt to help their children through the difficult separation may have been what sparked Garner's optimism.  According to an earlier report by E! News, Garner and Affleck had decided on keeping a united front for their children from the time of their separation. Radar Online says that the couple spent as much time as they could with their children Violet, Seraphina and Samuel and, recently, even went on a Montana getaway as a family.

"Ben's being good and not going out in public much these days, so she has this glimmer of hope they can make it work," the source continued.

The sentiment is one-sided, unfortunately, because the same source said that Affleck neither wishes the reconciliation nor believes that he and Garner can overcome the hurdles. "He wants nothing to do with getting back together," the insider said.

Life & Style says that the insider qualified the confusing factor for Garner.  "Their family time overshadows the relationship drama and somehow it's working on the surface but that's it," the source said.

A previous report by Life & Style said that Affleck was quite torn by the separation so much so that Garner decided to put divorce proceedings on hold until after Affleck completed his film "Live By Night."
