'WWE 2K16' DLC Release Date: New Future Stars Pack With Flaw, DLC With Samoa Joe, Los Matadores, More Causing Grief

Publisher 2K Sports recently released the professional wrestling game "WWE 2K16's" latest DLC. Called Future Stars Pack, the DLC offers five of the most awaited characters for the game. The Future Stars Pack is part of the "WWE 2K16" Season Pass. 

According to Hardcore Gamer, the new Future Stars Pack gives the game five new playable "WWE" and "NXT" characters, including Blake, Murphy and the Los Matadores Diego and Fernando. The addition of former TNA World champion and "NXT" main event Samoa Joe is among the most awaited additions from the Future Stars Pack.

Top Rope Press reports that the Future Stars expansion pack priced at $7.99, however, has a major flaw. Although "WWE 2K16" DLCs have generally been good, this latest one hit a bit of a snag. Complaints on the DLC include data wipeout and the main game mode can no longer be accessed once the new DLC is installed.

2K Sports promptly released a response to the issues. "We're aware of an issue some users are experiencing with Universe Mode save data connected to the Future Stars Pack DLC," community manager Bryan Vore wrote. "After initial investigation, we've found this issue only affects PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game. PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 users will not experience this issue. If you are an active Universe Mode player on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, we recommend waiting to download the Future Stars Pack until we fully investigate and resolve the issue. Thank you for your patience."

According to Wrestle Zone the previously released "WWE 2K16" DLCs also included in the "WWE 2K16" Season Pass are the Legends Pack and the New Moves Pack. The "WWE 2K16" Season Pass, is priced at $24.99 and provide the DLCs to users as soon as the new features are released and available.

The "WWE 2K16" Legends Pack DLC brings with it new "WWE 2K16" characters. Among these characters are playable WWE legends Big Boss Man, Dusty Rhodes, Lita, Mr. Perfect, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and Trish Stratus.

The "WWE 2K16"  New Moves Pack DLC on the other hand, gives existing characters refined movesets.  Among the moves are Corner Enzuigiri ("WWE" Diva Nikki Bella signature move), Avalanche Ram ("WWE" Diva Paige signature move), Sidewinder Suplex ("WWE" Superstar Kevin Owens signature move), Standing Crossface Chickenwing ("WWE" Superstar Stardust signature) and Dragon Sleeper ("NXT" Superstar Finn Bálor signature).
