‘Fifty Shades Darker’ Release Date, Cast & Update: Dakota Johnson Reveals ‘Sexier’ Scenes Are Coming In ‘FSOG’ Sequel; Kim Basinger To Tear Anastasia Steele & Christian Grey Apart?

It is undeniable that the "Fifty Shades of Grey" has captured the interest of many despite its bold and explicit theme. While fans are waiting for the upcoming sequel entitled "Fifty Shades Darker," lead star Dakota Johnson has boosted the hype for the much-awaited sequel by sharing her experiences in preparing for the film and her raunchy scenes along with co-actor Jamie Dornan.

While there is still no official date revealed as to when the official filming of "Fifty Shades Darker" will kickoff, Dakota said that she is very stocked to reprise her controversial role. "We're gonna start filming that soon...I think it's gonna be exciting....to go back and develop characters further," the 26-year-old actress, who plays the role of Anastasia Steele, said of the forthcoming movie.

Dakota even assured fans that "Fifty Shades Darker" will totally be different from "Fifty Shades of Grey" as it is going to be bolder and, perhaps, sexier. "The story, is sort of like a thriller now. And it gets kinda scary. It's awesome," she said.

While she confidently displays her toned body in the movie's sex scenes, Dakota confessed that she does not feel comfortable filming them up until now. "It never is comfortable to be seen like that...because it's not in a private, or intimate environment," she admitted to Access Hollywood during an interview.

Dakota, however, claimed that she has no problem in taping such sexy scenes for the "Fifty Shades of Grey" series despite her reticence. "I don't have any problem doing anything. The secret is I have no shame," she told Elle few months back. "I think there's a part of a woman that wants to be the thing that breaks a man down."

Meanwhile, one must-watch addition to "Fifty Shades Darker" is the joining of multi-awarded actress Kim Basinger in the "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel. She is casted to play the role of Elena Lincoln, who is the ex-lover of Christian Grey.

Expected to add conflict in the Christian-Anastasia romance, Kim's addition is already in the cards as her character has been foreshadowed in the first "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie. Fans and critics alike could now expect more drama and conflict between the characters with the coming of Elena, who would elicit doubts and jealousy especially on the part of Anastasia.

"Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed" are slated to be filmed back to back with the former slated to kickoff production in February. Aside from Dakota, Jamie and Kim, other stars gracing the upcoming movie are Max Martini, Eloise Mumford and Luke Grimes.
