‘The Divergent Series: Allegiant’ Cast & Updates: Theo James, Shailene Woodley’s Passionate Scene Disappoints Partners?

"The Divergent Series: Allegiant" is almost a month away from its premiere in theatres and fans are already brimming with excitement to see Theo James and Shailene Woodley back on the big screens.

The upcoming installment of the "Divergent" franchise recently released a teaser trailer, which showed what seemed like a passionate scene between its lead stars, Shailene Woodley and Theo James.

In the said trailer entitled "Tear Down The Wall," Woodley and James can be seen stripping down, with the former burning her clothes to mark the signal of their rebirth, Master Herald reported. Many fans were excited when the trailer transitioned to a shower scene.

While the scene did not exactly show that the two stars were together, it was enough to spark the imagination of fans and viewers. The publication noted that this scene may cause issues with James and Woodley's real life partners, Ruth Kearney and Nahko Bear, respectively.

According to the publication, rumors claimed that Kearney and Bear breathed a sigh of relief when James and Woodley wrapped up their scenes for the movie in 2015. Kearney and Bear were reportedly expecting that dating rumors between Woodley and James will end once the two are no longer together on set, but they only ended up getting disappointed when the trailer was released.

James and Woodley have been plagued by countless dating rumors ever since they starred in "Divergent," "Insurgent," and in the upcoming installment "Allegiant," as Four and Tris, respectively.

Korea Portal reported that the 31-year-old actor may have even considered postponing his wedding plans with Kearney for the sake of Woodley.

The outlet further noted that dating rumors between Woodley and James continue to make rounds on the Internet because of their good words for each other during interviews.

James previously spoke highly about his "Divergent: Allegiant" co-star and said that the 24-year-old actress has grown into a woman since they first met.

"The Divergent Series: Allegiant" opens in theatres on Mar. 18, 2016.
