David Beckham Offers 'Parenting Tips’ to Prince William

Former soccer star David Beckham reportedly offered some parenting tips to new dad Prince William.

"As soon as David heard that Kate had given birth, he called his good friend William to congratulate him," a source told Star magazine, according to Belfast Telegraph. "David talked to Wills about fatherhood and offered advice on dealing with late nights. He also arranged for him and Victoria to meet up with the new family," the source added. Although it is not clear what kind of 'parenting advice' Beckham offered William.

The royal couple, William and wife Kate Middleton, welcomed their first child, a son, on July 22. They have named the baby George Alexander Louis. Beckham and William are known to be quite close friends. The 38-year-old football star joked saying that William and Kate should name their son after him.

Beckham recently said that he thought the royal couple would make "amazing" parents. "I think William and Kate, they're going to be amazing parents because they're so loving towards children. You see the way they are," he said.

Beckham and wife Victoria 'Posh' Beckham have three sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz and a daughter Harper.

Last year Beckham revealed his battle with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). He said that it makes him want to "have everything in a straight line or everything has to be in pairs." Victoria confirmed it saying, "If you open our fridge, it's all co-ordinated down either side. We've got three fridges - food in one, salad in another and drinks in the third. In the drinks one, everything is symmetrical. If there's three cans, he'll throw one away because it has to be an even number.

The Belfast Telegraph also reported that there were rumors that the Duchess of Cambridge wanted a second baby and that too soon. "She would love to give William the daughter he wants, and she thinks three children is the perfect family," a source said.
