‘Kingdom Hearts 3’ Release Date, News & Update: ‘KH3’ Reclaims Popularity; Square Enix Game Reenters Famitsu’s Top 10 Most Wanted Game List

Several fans of the upcoming "Kingdom Heart 3" got tired of waiting for its official release, which quite caused the hype to decline. Now, new reports claimed that the much-anticipated game is slowly regaining its reputation as it once again entered the top 10 most-wanted games of Famitsu.

"Kingdom Hearts 3" took the seventh rank in the recently-released Top 10 Most Wanted Game list by Famitsu. Joining the highly-wanted game are "Final Fantasy 15," which placed second, "Personal 5" and "Dragon Quest 11."

However, while the game was efficacious on its journey to redeem its status, reports claimed that "Kingdom Hearts 3" is still no experiencing the same feat it used to enjoy since it is now in the bottom of the list. To recall, it has been consistently listed as the number one much-wanted game last year.

Gamers have been patiently waiting for the release of "Kingdom Hearts 3." However, up until now, Square Enix has remained mum about the game's launching and little details are currently available. Unluckily, while the game developer is successful in keeping everything under wraps, it has failed to maintain the game's popularity.

As a matter of fact, "Kingdom Hearts 3" botched Famitsu's top 10 most-wanted games last December.  Placing at the 11^th spot at that time, the forthcoming installment of the "Kingdom Hearts" game series previously secured itself in rank eight.

The shocking drop was speculated to have been caused by Square Enix's parsimonious scheme in giving details about "Kingdom Hearts 3." Game Bolt even stated that the long waiting of fans has already hurt the upcoming video game's popularity.

While gamers started losing their interest in "Kingdom Hearts 3," Square Enix released a number of updates and trailers of the game in the attempt to recuperate its decreasing fame. Fortunately, the game developer was able to keep up with the peeved gamers as it was able to make them cling on the series again.

As for its release date, reports have it that "Kingdom Hearts 3" is likely to be released in 2017. Despite this, several fans are still hopeful that it will be launched within the year. Sad news is no official statement from Square Enix has been released yet up to this writing.
