‘Teen Wolf’ Season 5 Cast & Updates: Stiles and Lydia ‘Grow Closer,’ Teases Holland Roden; ‘Stydia’ Romance Happening? [Spoilers]

"Teen Wolf" Season 5 may finally show the most-awaited romance between Stiles and Lydia. In a recent interview with Holland Roden, the actress admitted that the two will "grow closer this season."

For quite some time, fans of the MTV series, "Teen Wolf" have been rooting for romance between Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) and Lydia (Holland Roden). While the show has been hinting on this romance, especially during the first half of Season 5, it looks like there will be more progress in their relationship during the second half.

Roden revealed during an interview with TVLine that Lydia and Stiles shippers will have something to rejoice about in "Teen Wolf" Season 5.

Lydia and Stiles will "grow closer this season," she said. "They learn to appreciate each other, and what they've been through. There are some key moments that I think will make people happy."

As seen on the latest episode of the MTV series, Stiles devised a plan to rescue Lydia from the Eichen House. Carter Matt noted that Stiles and Scott will receive an offer from Theo (Cody Christian), who tells them that his only reason for helping them rescue Lydia is because of Lydia's abilities.

Will Stiles successfully rescue Lydia and will this ultimately unleash the romantic side of their relationship?

"Stydia" fans definitely hope so! Meanwhile, Roden also admitted that she had some fun filming her scenes at the Eichen House. The actress also revealed that she had to shoot the same scenes in different angles several times.

"I was like, 'If I'm not trained for a David Fincher movie right now, I don't know what will train me for it.' I did that scene for over a year, the one where I'm in the bed with Valack," she added.
