'Left 4 Dead 3' Xbox One, PS4, PC Release Slated For Next Year? Valve Will Pattern New Title To 'Left 4 Dead?'

Fans who are still looking forward to a "Half Life 3" release date announcement should just focus on another Valve title instead. According to recent rumors, "Left 4 Dead 3" already has the green light, and it could be available next year.

Game Rant reported that the third installment could be made available across all platforms- Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Apart from its 2017 release date, the article also claimed that the success of the new game could have something to do with Valve modeling it with the original title, "Left 4 Dead."

"Left 4 Dead has always been a series with a great level of longevity, and over complicating the gameplay could mean that vital moreish quality is lost," the article said. "If Valve is indeed on its way to releasing Left 4 Dead 3, then it should pay heed to this and not rock the boat too much. If the development of the game is played right, Valve may well be on their way to making another addition to the list of seemingly timeless multiplayer games."

Meanwhile, "Left 4 Dead 3" release date reports also speculate on the different campaigns of the new game. "Accordingly, there will be six campaigns for 'Left 4 Dead 3,' including Crash-land, Impasse, Inquisitor Land, Early Destination, Cliff-Hanger, and No Mercy," Master Herald noted.

The article continued that the new game will introduce four new survivors- three men and a woman- which are playable in single or multiplayer mode. "The three men include a gangster named Irvin, a comic book nerd named Keenan, and a famous Kenpo fighter known as Garrett Jr. The lone female in the group is Katherine," the article continued.
