'Pokemon' 2016 News & Update: 'Pokemon' Company Parnters Up With 'The Entertainer'; Celebrating 20 Years In Business

"Pokemon" has been one of the longest inspirational characters in the entertainment world today; it has expanded from a toy, to series to movies and to games, and it is yet to die down. This year "Pokemon" will be turning 20 years old -- in entertainment business years that is quiet long and the success of "Pokemon" is no question.

It should also be known that "Pokemon" fans are one of the most loyal fans out there and who would be surprised? "Pokemon" has created the most lovable characters and creatures in the whole gaming world including Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charizard and many more. So, the Pokemon Company decided to honor the fans by collaborating together with toy retailer, The Entertainment.

To celebrate their 20 years in the business, the Pokemon Company and The Entertainment are giving "Pokemon" fans a chance to get a special Collector's Album free of charge. The Collector's Album will enable gamers to showcase "Pokemon" trading cards including the expansion game XY-Breakpoint.

The Entertainer will also include hanging "Pokemon" characters and Pokemon window displays, which can be installed. The toy retailer will also include point-of-sale materials in their "Pokemon" roster. Another amazing surprise for "Pokemon" fans is a 25 percent discount in master toy partner TOMY in "Pokemon" toy range in their stores.

"With sales for the Trading Card Game continuing to soar, this is a very exciting time for Pokémon as we celebrate 20 years of the brand with 12 months of celebrations, events and activity," Mathieu Galante, senior market development manager at The Pokémon Company International, said. "The Entertainer is a great partner for us, and we are delighted to be working with them on this special promotion for Pokémon fans and continuing our partnership on through into 2016."

Pokemon Company has also placed Trading Card Games sampling packs in over 250,000 copies of children's publication and last but not the least the company has teamed up with GAME, which gives players a chance to pick up the mythical "Pokemon" Mew in a special distribution deal.
