'Elder Scrolls' DLC Release Date, News & Updates: 'Elder Scrolls' Online's New Thieves Guild Locations

In less than one month, "The Thieves Guild" expansion is coming to "Elder Scrolls Online." The expansion will bring many dangerous new areas for the players' enjoyment. The designed new area is called Hew's Bane.

According to the website Dailystar, the land in southern Hammerfell is split into four areas, each of them featuring their own dangers and unique obstacles to overcome. The expansion will include in addition a 12-player trial called The Maw of Lorkhaj and several story quests. The trial provides powerful new items. The update will also feature repeatable activities such as stealing, pick pocketing, heists and more.

Abah's Landing is the capital of Hew's Bane. There is located the home of the Thieves Guild and many Thieves Guild quests are set in the area. Abah's Landing is a large city and, according to the games makers, is "one of the most elaborate cities in Elder Scrolls Online."

"The Thieves Guild" is in great disarray when the player arrives at Hew's Bane. A mercenary force called the Iron Wheel is one of the main dangers in the area. Many player missions will focus on fighting back against the Iron Wheel and restoring the former glory of the Guild.

A concealed grotto called Shark's Teeth Grotto is located in the southwest. The residents were forced to build their homes directly into the grotto's walls because the area regularly floods. This is a place for those trying to avoid the merchant lords' reach. The grotto's ownership constantly changes. Currently it belongs to pirate crews.

A despoiled Yokudan tomb called Bahraha's Gloom is located in the northwestern area of Hew's Bane. Prince Hew's half-uncle is permanently immured within the tomb together with his followers. Players can crack the sealed tomb and face new challenges. The reward for their bravery could be a boat load of treasures.

Other interesting new area is the abandoned fort called No Shira Citadel overlooking the Abecean Sea. The fort's buildings and walls were destroyed by constant flooding. Now the place has become a temporary home for an imperial legion, a traveling circus, bandits and mercenaries.

According to the official website "The Elder Scrolls Online," "Thieves Guild" DLC will be launched on PC/Mac on March 7, on Xbox One on March 22 and on PlayStation 4 on March 23.
