A recent post noted on the possibility that Lion is the real Pink Pearl while spoilers for the upcoming episode hint on a reunion between Lapis and Peridot.

"Steven Universe" Season 2 Episode 30 titled "Super Watermelon Island" may see the reunion between Lapis and Peridot, Korea Portal reported. According to the publication, Lapis and Peridot seemingly had a sour relationship in earlier episodes before the former was trapped in the Homeworld for 5000 years.

The upcoming episode of "Steven Universe" will finally explain the reason behind their sour relationship and what really took place in the prison. This may also give Peridot the chance to make up for all the things she did to Lapis.

This has also been theorized by a user named CookieFoxGirl, the outlet noted.

"It is possible that she's still upset with Peridot by the events of Jail Break of being her prisoner and dragging her to earth," the user commented.

"Steven Universe" spoilers for the upcoming episode also hint that Steven's watermelon creations will be returning, as Steven makes an effort to search for his watermelons. The publication noted that there are speculations that when Steven gets to find his watermelon creations, he will notice that there have been drastic changes in their behavior.

Meanwhile, Movie Pilot also reported on another "Steven Universe" theory, which claims that Lion may be the real Pink Pearl. The outlet noted that Lion always seemed to have a strong connection to Rose and somewhat acts as the latter's "living bag."

Peridot previously shared that Pearls "hold your things for you," which seemingly reveals the connection between Lion and Rose. The publication also stated that gems are capable of changing their forms and Pink Pearl may be disguising itself as Lion in order to protect Rose from Pink Diamond.
