According to Tech Times, the "Final Fantasy IX" original PlayStation version is considered by fans the best "Final Fantasy" game ever. Now, the iOS and Android release is coming with new game play features for mobile.

According to the specialized website Mac Rumors, the character in the game will achieve new abilities by equipping items. After the new abilities are fully mastered, the character can use them even without the help of equipping items.

The Trance mode will enable characters to gain additional powerful skills. Items could be put together in order to make them more powerful. Users will be able to play different minigames and get exclusive item rewards with the mobile version.

The mobile version also includes "high-definition movies and character models" and a collection of "game boosters", according to Engadget. With the game boosters players will be able to cheat their way through the game by cutting our random encounters, speeding up time, or hitting every enemy for 9,999 damage.

Mobile "Final Fantasy IX" works with the iPhone 5s, iPad mini 2, fourth-generation iPad 4, sixth-generation iPod touch or later versions. In order to be able to play the game, users will need more than 8 GB of free space on iDevices or 4 GB of free space on Android 4.1+ phone or tablet.

Fans of the popular "Final Fantasy IX" could download now the game at a discounted price of $16.99 until Feb. 21. However, on the PlayStation Store the mobile versions are almost two times as pricey as the original game.
