"Prison Break" Season 5 will see the return of Wentworth Miller as Michael Scofield and Dominic Purcell as Lincoln Burrows. While details about the upcoming Fox reboot are not yet known, it has been revealed earlier that Michael's return from the dead will be connected to a "major twist."

It was initially speculated that Michael faked his own death, but network executives revealed that there will be a "logical and believable" explanation for his death and his revival.

Given the fact that Michael has made it back alive, Christian Post reported that fans were left wondering if this would prompt Michael into starting a family with Sara. The publication noted that Michael and Sara have always dreamt of starting their own family, but this did not materialize into reality.

Actress Sarah Wayne Callies, however, has yet to confirm her return in the "Prison Break" revival. Express reported that Callies expressed doubts about her reprisal of her role in the series as Dr. Sara Tancredi.

Callies admitted that she did not want to return to the series for the sake of a reunion. Instead, she wanted to reprise her role because there was a more interesting story to tell the audience.

Callies also shared that she is currently in talks of negotiating her return in "Prison Break" Season 5.

"They're trying to make it work, I'm trying to make it work - it's a bit of Tetris with everyone's schedules because we all have other jobs," she said.

"Prison Break" Season 5 will also film on a script written by the show's creator Paul Scheuring.

"Prison Break" Season 5 is expected to premiere this 2016 on Fox.
