'Uncharted 4: A Thief's End': Release Date, News & Update: Details 'Leaked' On Naughty Dog's Final Nathan Drake Game, April Release Date For Sony PS4 Exclusive Critical For A While

Naughty Dog's final offering on the Nathan Drake story is not without its problems. News surfaced that "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" went critical for a spell on its release date.

Sony had initially announced that Naughty Dog's "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" will see an April 2016 release date. On the up side, fans can now get an up close and personal preview of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," thanks to gaming merchandise.

According to Daily Star, fans can head over to the Australian online store Popcultcha to grab a copy of the limited edition hardback containing the "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" concept art. Among the "revelations" fans will find are the new landscape and new transportation mode that "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" will offer.

The site advertises the book as an opportunity to explore "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End." "[Providing] Numerous never-before-seen designs and concept art accompanies buy commentary from the developers give you behind-the-scenes access to the creation of this gaming masterwork," the description read. "This beautiful oversized hardcover is a must-have for any fan of the Uncharted franchise and high-quality video game art."

Game Rant states that the book, which is simply called "The Art of Uncharted 4," will be available for purchase alongside the "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" release date in April. However, an earlier report by Daily Star suggested that the "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" release date was on the wobbly side for a little while.

Jeremy Yates, who is the lead animator for "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," posted a Twitter photo where he wore a motion capture suit, making fans wonder if "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" is not as ready as it had been made to sound. "Donning the Drake suit just ONE LAST TIME," Yates captioned his photo.

Sony and Naughty Dog has had to postpone "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" twice in the past, hence the public anxiety over the Yates' photo. For now, the release date stated in the Sony Playstation site remains April 2016.

Needless to say, "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" is well worth the wait. Sony announced that this fourth instalment in Nathan Drake's story under Neil Druckmann's direction is the biggest "Uncharted" game created.

Neil Druckmann also confirmed that "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" will be Nathan Drake's final salvo and will be the last time actor Nolan North gives life to the character. Nathan Drake will be joined by his brother Sam Drake, voiced by "The Last Of Us" actor Troy Baker in "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End." Laura Bailey also joins as the controversial voice behind villain Nadine Ross.
