Robert Pattinson, FKA Twigs Engaged: ‘Twilight’ Actor is the New 007 James Bond? Rejects Offer for Fiancé?

Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs are rumored to tie the knot sometime this 2016. While a wedding is always a good news, it seems like their upcoming wedding is Pattinson's reason for rejecting the offer to become the next James Bond.

Robert Pattinson is rumored to be replacing Daniel Craig as the next James Bond, Morning Ledger reported. According to the publication, Craig allegedly spoke highly about the "Twilight" actor.

"Daniel told Rob he'd make a brilliant Bond and would like to see a young talented British actor take on the role," an insider shared.

Unfortunately, it looks like the 29-year-old actor has a lot of projects on his hands, not to mention his upcoming wedding with his fiancé, FKA Twigs. The publication reported that Pattinson is currently filming "Good Time" where he will be playing the role of Connie.

Pattinson also recently filmed "The Lost City of Z" together with Brad Pitt and Charlie Hunnam. He will also star in the movie, "The Trap" next to James Franco.

Aside from these upcoming movies, Pattinson has reportedly received an ultimatum from his fiancé, FKA Twigs. An earlier report from In Touch stated that Twigs is has given Pattinson an option to either get married this year or break up.

"[FKA] Twigs has told Rob this year they have to get married. It may even be a registry wedding, in front of a handful of friends and family in the UK. She's told him she would like to do something in the summer, but has warned him she doesn't want this dragging on," a source said.

All of these projects and commitments is said to be a part of the reason why Pattinson cannot afford to take on the role of James Bond in the 007 movie franchise. However, it is yet to be confirmed whether Daniel Craig will be leaving the franchise and whether he really wanted Pattinson to take on the role of Bond.

Do you think Robert Pattinson is a good candidate to replace Daniel Craig as the next James Bond? Sound off in the comments!
