Kim Kardashian Bares Baby Bump in Gritty Photo Shoot [PHOTOS]

Kim Kardashian is settling comfortably into her new role as a mommy to baby girl North West, however, a month before the reality star gave birth, Kardashian posed for a gritty photo shoot where she bared her baby bump.

Kim Kardashian, who usually prefers to a sexy and feminine look, broke out of her shell for a photo shoot and appears on the cover of the third issue of CR Fashion Book, Carine Roitfeld's namesake magazine.

The gritty photo spread, which took place earlier in May, shows Kardashian on the cover flashing what appears to be a set of gold grills. In the inside spread, Kardashian appears in a spread titled "Miss USA."

"Pregnancy is something that I always love. It's about hope and the future and a new baby," Carine Roitfeld told WWD.  Inside the mag, the story is headlined "Miss USA" and features the reality star in a Yankees cap with her pregnant belly exposed.

"I think the message is embrace your curves and who you are," Kim once told Harper's Bazaar about posing naked. "I feel proud if young girls look up to me and say, 'I'm curvy, and I'm proud of it now.'"

However, as much as Kim loved being pregnant, she's also looking forward to getting her signature figure back. The curvy reality star revealed that she wants to celebrate her post-pregnancy curves by getting behind the camera again - this time for a steamy Playboy shoot! Even before she had her daughter, North, Kim was thinking about how to celebrate her post-pregnancy curves. In a new teaser clip for an upcoming episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim shares that she wants to do another nude photo shoot to show off her body after she gives birth.

"As soon as I pop this thing out, I want to do Playboy or some nude shoot," a then-pregnant Kim revealed on a teaser promo clip for Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
