"The Bachelor" Season 20 Ben Higgins is allegedly having second thoughts on his engagement. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Higgins will ultimately have to decide between Lauren Bushnell and JoJo Fletcher during the ABC series' final rose ceremony.

Higgins allegedly had such a tough time choosing between the two ladies since he has made a love confession for both Bushnell and Fletcher. This confusion has made him turn to his mother for an advice.

However, Higgins did not only ask his mother to guide him through this process. "The Bachelor" 2016 has allegedly asked his mother to make the decision for him.

The publication noted that this is not entirely surprising, as Higgins has clearly shown that he will follow his mother's decisions. According to the publication, Higgins' mother had lunch with "The Bachelor" Season 20 and Emily Ferguson.

Higgins' mother told him that Ferguson seemed "too young to settle down into married life and motherhood." By the end of the episode, Higgins ultimately chose to send Ferguson home.

Meanwhile, "The Bachelor" Season 20 Episode 8 will see Higgins think carefully about his future. According to International Business Times, Higgins will go to Amanda's hometown in the upcoming episode.

While Higgins is well aware of the fact that Amanda is a single mom of two kids, Amanda's parents will begin to raise their concern over whether Higgins is "ready to be an immediate full-time dad."

Higgins will also face some tough questions from Bushnell's sister while Fletcher will stumble upon an "unexpected surprise," which will get in the way of her romantic date with Higgins.
