"Prison Break" Season 5 spoilers hint that the Fox revival will not see an immediate continuation of events from the Season 4 finale of the show, which aired in 2009. In an interview posted on Prison Break Revival, Wentworth Miller revealed that the five-year time jump will be critical for all of the characters in the story.

"It's not a pickup from where we left off, it's a five years later where these characters come from," Miller said.

This means that fans and viewers will ultimately see Miller's character, Michael Scofield still alive. Fans began speculating possible reasons for his character's return from the dead, including associating it with Michael faking his brain tumor.

Miller also admitted that he would like to see how series creator Paul Scheuring will be able to connect the events of "Prison Break" Season 5 to the DVD version.

"I would like to see all of that incorporated. I would like to believe we can honor the story that's been told and not do a dream sequence kind of thing," he added.

Meanwhile, fans became increasingly excited after hearing this five-year time jump for "Prison Break" Season 5. Many fans are hoping to see a better, happier ending between Michael and Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies).

As reported on Christian Post, many fans are hoping to see Michael and Sara start their own family together, as these two have always been dreaming of doing so during the past seasons.

This, however, will only become a possibility if actress Sarah Wayne Callies signs a contract for the "Prison Break" revival.
