‘Sons of Anarchy’ Prequel Cast & Updates: Charlie Hunnam Drops Out of ‘Pacific Rim 2’ for FX Series?

"Sons of Anarchy" prequel is one of the most anticipated shows on TV following its series finale in 2014. While more details about the upcoming series are expected to be announced during the show's Memorial Day weekend in May, rumors are rife that Charlie Hunnam is dropping out of the "Pacific Rim" sequel for his role as Jax Teller.

"Sons of Anarchy" prequel will feature the events that took place before the birth of Jackson 'Jax' Teller. This has led to speculations that actor Charlie Hunnam will no longer play a role in the upcoming prequel, but fans remained hopeful that the 35-year-old actor will portray a completely different character.

Rumor has it that Hunnam is having a difficult time trying to break out of his role as bad boy biker Jax Teller after his successful appearance in the FX series. This has allegedly led the actor to drop out of several projects, International Business Times reported.

According to the publication, Hunnam dropped out of "Fifty Shades of Grey" after he was initially slated to play the role of Christian Grey. Back then, Hunnam shared that he had to back out because of his busy schedule while filming "SoA."

Scified also reported that Hunnam is rumored to be dropping out of "Pacific Rim 2," as the actor is allegedly growing impatient trying to wait for more updates about the upcoming sequel.

Hunnam is reportedly keeping his eye set on more stable projects, including a role as the Green Arrow in the upcoming "Justice League" film. The delay in "Pacific Rim 2" was due to the studio's decision to place the movie on the backburner in order to give the creative team more time to work on the sequel of the movie.

This news, however, has made many fans excited, as this will give Hunnam more time to focus on the "Sons of Anarchy" prequel instead.

Should Charlie Hunnam star in the "Sons of Anarchy" prequel or should he reprise his role in "Pacific Rim 2?" Sound off in the comments!
