John Legend And Chrissy Teigen Gets Parenting Advice from President Obama; Talks About The Coming Of Their First Baby

Grammy award winner and daddy-to-be John Legend along with his wife, Chrissy Teigen, have already had their fair share of parenting tip avalanche from basically everyone they know. During the Grammy Awards' red carpet, John shared what he called "a very important tip" he got from US President Barrack Obama.

Teigen and Legend are expecting a baby girl soon and as first time parent, who better to give advice on how to handle daughters than the President himself, who has raised 2 lovely ladies with his wife, First Lady Michelle Obama. "Be prepared to be wrapped around their little finger as their dad," the President said according to Parents.

The couple who's well known for always showing their playful side both joked that they're not sure if a "congrats" is a suitable word just yet. "We don't know her personality yet. It might not be a 'congrats,'" Teigen said during CBS' red carpet pre-show. "Maybe it's a punishment," added Legend.

John also said that everything feels weird because they don't really know what to expect about the whole situation, according to People.com. Chrissy on the other hand just said, "We're gonna let it happen. She's gonna fall right out and we'll be good."

Teigen has also been flooded with tips and advice on parenting from friends, but one particular friend she considers to have given her support is long time gal pal, Kim Kardashian West, who also struggled with infertility issues before having daughter North. "Kim gave me advice [on fertility] even before we started. She's been here the entire time for advice," Chrissy said.

Meeting their precious little girl is not the only thing the couple have on their mind. They admitted they haven't picked a name, or even finished the nursery yet. "Our house is still being renovated," said Legend. "We're mentally ready, but physically, no. At least I'm not," said Teigen.
