Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder Split: ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Actress Looking to Settle Down?

Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder continue to be plagued by countless rumors despite their breakup in 2013. A recent report claims that "The Vampire Diaries" actress is already looking to settle down after her most recent breakup with Austin Stowell.

Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev remain to be one of Hollywood's greatest couples. It isn't such a wonder that fans remain hopeful to see both stars reunite in front of the screens, if not in real life.

Now that Dobrev is back to being single after splitting with her boyfriend of seven months, Austin Stowell, rumors are rife that Dobrev and Somerhalder's reunion will soon happen. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Somerhalder and his wife, Nikki Reed are already fighting over their plans of starting a family.

Somerhalder is allegedly keen on having a baby with Reed, but the latter refuses because of her career. This has allegedly caused numerous issues in their marriage, which even led Somerhalder to reminisce his relationship with Dobrev.

Rumors previously claimed that Somerhalder and Dobrev broke up because they were disagreeing over their future together. Somerhalder is already looking to tie the knot with the "TVD" actress, but the latter was not yet ready back then.

"He was starting to talk marriage and she is just getting started on her career," a source stated.

However, her recent relationship with Stowell seemingly showed that Dobrev was already looking to start her own family, Inquisitr reported.

"Dobrev even got domestic and baked a cake and other goodies for Stowell," the publication stated.

Dobrev posted a photo of herself baking a carrot cake for Stowell's birthday. The actress also posted several photos of her and Stowell when they were still together, which was taken as a sign that the two were getting serious.

This meant that Dobrev may have been finally ready for the future that Somerhalder had initially planned for them in the past. This prompted even more speculations that Somerhalder and Dobrev may reunite sometime in the future.
