'Devious Maids' Season 4 Release Date, Cast, News & Spoilers: Adrian May Not Be In Shocking Season 4, Has True Love Found Carmen Luna?

The "Devious Maids Season 4" build-up is sounding good with the addition of "Desperate Housewives" actor James Denton, "Cristela" actor Carlos Ponce, "Chuck" actor Ryan McPartlin, and the return of Mariana Klaveno's Peri Westmore. With the added participation of "Telenovela" star Eva Longoria to "Devious Maids Season 4," fans are eager to return to the cliffhangers of the "Devious Maids" finale in Season 3.

International Business Times reports that "Joy" actress Susan Lucci, who plays Genevieve Delatour, stated that mystery, humor and a few shocking turns will be the mix for "Devious Maids Season 4." Susan Lucci also hinted about the fate of "The Haunting" actor Tom Irwin's fate as Adrian Powell who was last seen inside the Powell home before it was racked by an explosion.

"A lot of people want to know if Adrian survives," Lucci said. "Adrian on paper is a very unsympathetic, sleazy kind of a character, but in the hands of Tom, you love this guy and root for him and you want him to live. And that's part of what we'll focus on in the beginning. We just began shooting, but there are some shocking surprises, let's put it that way."

Noticeably on IMDB, the "Devious Maids" lineup dates reflect Irwin's participation in the show 2013-2015. This may either be a ploy to maintain the suspense until "Devious Maids Season 4" premieres or Irwin may take the route of new mom Edy Ganem and continue as an occasional guest star on "Devious Maids." Alternatively, Adrian Powell might not have survived the blast, hence Irwin's absence from the 2016 line up.

Hollywood Reporter states that showrunner Brian Tanen did say at the close of "Devious Maids" Season 3 that they tend to modify plans as they go along. "We have talked about various strategies, but I will say that at the beginning of every year we deviate quite a bit from the plan when we figure out who our new characters are going to be," Tanen said. "I wouldn't place any bets right now on what's going to happen. It's a little bit up in the air."

In the meantime, TVLine reports that James Denton plays a character named Pater in "Devious Maids Season 4," who will swiftly fall in love with someone in the show. As a movie producer, his paths will have to cross with Roselyn Sanchez's Carmen Luna. Is Denton's Peter the true love that Carmen Luna has been waiting for?

 All will be revealed when Season 4 premieres this Spring on Lifetime. Stars Ana Ortiz as Mirasol Suarez, Dania Ramirez as Rosie Falta, Judy Reyes as Zoila Diaz and Roselyn Sanchez as Carmen Luna will join new and returning cast on "Devious Maids Season 4."
