'Red Dead Redemption 2' Release Date, News & Updates: The Game Is Expected To Be Announced At E3 2016 Event

With the planned presence at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016 (E3 2016) of Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar, the game title "Red Dead Redemption 2" is expected to be also announced at the event.

Last year, Take-Two Interactive has had a slow year, but it seems that the company has big plans bounce back this year. Despite being released only on the PC, "XCOM 2" game tile is doing good sales-wise and received high review scores, making already a good start this 2016 for Take Two.

Meanwhile, "Red Dead Redemption 2" by Rockstar Games has been talked about for quite a long time but up to now no release date was clear for the game title. The recent announcement by Rockstar Games and Take-Two that they will participate in this year's E3 2016 creates expectations that the game "Red Dead Redemption 2" will be finally announced at the same event.

According to Digital Times, many have speculated about Rockstar Games' "Red Dead Redemption 2." The game title is expected to be the follow up to "Wild West" launched a few years ago.

Vine Report confirms that Take-Two Interactive along with Rockstar Games will be present on June 12 at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016 event. Rumors have speculated that the companies will also disclose details about a supposed second expansion. However, up to date Rockstar Games and Take-Two have not confirmed that their featured game will be "Red Dead Redemption 2."

According to Christian Post, there are other games most certain to be present at E3 event and confirmed to be released later within the year, such as "Battleborn," "Civilization Revolution 2 Plus" and "Mafia 3." In these circumstances the thought of a possible announcement at the E3 event this year of "Red Dead Redemption 2" is very plausible.

According to rumors, the next expansion will be called "Red Dead Redemption 2: Legends of the West." The game would likely come out this year on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. If the game is going to be released indeed in 2016, it will come out more than five years after its predecessor, "Red Dead Redemption."
