'Call of Duty: Ghosts 2' Release Date, News & Update: UK Magazine Leaks Major Spoiler

U.K. Magazine Games TM February issue leaked a major spoiler as they included "Call of Duty: Ghosts 2" in the list of the "2016's Most Wanted Games." The spread also revealed that the game was about to be released in November this year.

A scanned copy of the publication was sent to Fraghero by the game enthusiast Mari Fernett. And here what it said:

"When creative strategist Robert Bowling exited Infinity Ward in 2012, he put the departure down to the studio doing "too much 'pew pew' not enough new new." We got a look at what he meant with the release of Call of Duty: Ghosts - a solid, yet unspectacular next-gen debut for the franchise. Infinity Ward will have had three years to work on a follow up, and it needs to showcase the same creative spark that once put in on the map with Modern Warfare back in '08 if it wants any chance of standing shoulder to shoulder with Sledgehammer and Treyarch."

The author of the report suggested that "Call of Duty: Ghosts 2" is one of the much-awaited games for 2016. It also added that "Infinity Ward" has to level up its game like what it did with "Modern Warfare."

To recall, Activision confirmed on Feb. 11 that "Call of Duty" is already in the works as well as "Call of Duty: Ghosts" by Infinity Ward, the creator of "Modern Warfare" in investors call. In fact, the confirmation was followed by an announcement on their official Twitter page.

"COD 2016. Now it's official. Can't wait to show you what we've been developing!" Meanwhile, many were surprised that the journal chose "Call of Duty: Ghosts 2" as the title of the next game when it has been known that the developers released a photo of "reaching new heights" with an astronaut.

Moreover, the Games TM magazine also mentioned "Battledfield 5," which was recently hinted to be a WWI shooter and "Destiny 2" was allegedly confirmed to be released in 2017.
