Kurt Russell to Co-Star in Fast and Furious 7

62-year old actor, Kurt Russell will be co-starring in the upcoming Fast and Furious 7, according to TV Guide.

Russell is best known for his roles in Big Trouble Little China and Backdraft. "Kurt Russell, such an honor to work with," star Vin Diesel wrote on his Facebook page, along with a photo of himself, Russell and co-star Paul Walker. Details on his role were not released.

The first photo of Diesel and Russell on the set of their movie has also been released. There have been several reports that Jack would be joining the action flick surfaced back in August. The character Russell will be playing has been kept under wraps but an unofficial Twitter account for the film said that he will be playing the father of Jesse, Chad Lindberg's character in the first film and that he would be "Toretto's villain."

But they also said that Russell probably wasn't going to be in this installment, so that information is barely even a rumor. Other new additions to the franchise include Djimon Hounsou and UFC champion Ronda Rousey, who will both appear in Fast and Furious 7. The movie is currently filming in L.A.

Russell has starred in several other films since he was a teenager. His most recent contributions to the industry include Poseidon, Sky High, Touchback, Cutlass, Dreamer: Inspired by a True Story and Miracle. Vin Diesel on the other hand has also starred in films like Riddick, Fast and Furious 6, Fast Five, The Pacifier and more.
