Joey Feek Says Her Last Goodbyes To Her Family; Her Husband Blogged About It And It Will Make You Cry Buckets of Tears

Country singer Joey Feek has shown the world how brave she is from fighting her cancer since 2014. But on Feb. 29, her husband, Rory Feek, said that she has finally decided to end the battle and just wanted to say her final goodbyes to her family.

Rory Feek, Joey's husband and duet partner made a statement through his blog "This Life I Live" about her wife's final decision to fight her illness. Joey's words were "enough is enough" and that she is ready to end the fight and just go home since she is already feeling that the time is getting near for her to end her physical life on earth. She just wanted to be surrounded by her family when that time comes and also requested to say her goodbyes, especially to her little child who just turned 2.

The blog was entitled "One Last Kiss" and it is among the most heartbreaking stories anyone would read on the Internet. The Inquisitr also got a hold of Rory's blog post and quoted the country singer when he said, "Joey has done all she set out to do... even right to the very end, and by sheer will-power (and God's grace), she was still here to see our baby's 2nd birthday."

The latest update on Joey's health is unfortunately not good for those who are wishing her well and those who pray that she would be able to win against cancer. Her husband also wrote that her pain just got worse and her health is just declining on a rapid speed. Nurses at the hospice even said that it might just be only a few days that Joey would be with them, which is why the country singer decided to just say her goodbyes while she still can.

The final words of Rory's blog post ended with him saying, "Though our hearts are heavy we all need to do our best to remember that this is not the end. It's only the beginning. When Joey takes her last breath here... she will take her first breath there. In Heaven."
