Keanu Reeves Says ‘John Wick’ Chapter 2’ Is Intense Action In Rome: Reunion With ‘The Matrix’ Co-Star

"John Wick: Chapter 2," which stars Keanu Reeves, sounds quite tight with action that's reportedly more intense than the first 'John Wick." The world gets bigger in "John Wick: Chapter 2," with plans for "John Wick" to actually expand into multimedia.

IGN reports that Keanu Reeves gave fans more than a few things to anticipate. Among them will be how the underground world that fans got a peek of in the first film becomes more open in "John Wick: Chapter 2."

The plot will take Keanu Reeves' character all the way to Rome. Keanu Reeves says that "John Wick: Chapter 2" will reveal the layers of the worlds of assassins. In fact, Keanu Reeves used karate terms to say that "John Wick: Chapter 2" ups the intensity from the first "John Wick" by three full degrees.

According to Screen Rant, Keanu Reeves describes the addition of "22 Jump Street" actor Perter Stormare as a good mix into "John Wick: Chapter 2." Peter Stormare's character, Keanu Reeves says, does not get a huge amount of air time in "John Wick: Chapter 2." However, Keanu Reeves does say that Peter Stormare contributes significantly to the mystery and mythology of "John Wick: Chapter 2."

Inverse reports that "John Wick: Chapter 2" brings back the team up between Keanu Reeves and "The Matrix" trilogy co-star Laurence Fishburne. Keanu Reeves reveals that in "John Wick: Chapter 2," Laurence Fishburne comes in with an underworld character called "The Bowery King."

Apparently the reunion between Keanu Reeves and Laurence Fishburne in "John Wick: Chapter 2" worked out quite well. "He plays such a great character in the piece and he brings of course humour, intelligence, charisma and fascination - he's such an incredible actor and it was a pleasure to work with him again," Keanu Reeves expressed.

Filming for "John Wick: Chapter 2" has been completed. Fans will be able to see Keanu Reeves reprise his much awaited character once "John Wick: Chapter 2" release date comes in 2017.
