Johnny Depp News: 'Black Mass' Star's Appearance Raises Health Alarm But Actor Insists He 'Looks Like A Hobo, But Smell Really Good'

Is Johnny Depp having health issues? His appearance is becoming a concern for some. But even as the actor knows he may look like a hobo, he claims he smells good and is doing better.

The star of "Pirates of the Caribbean" recently graced the Hollywood Beauty Awards, where it was announced that he's the new fragrance ambassador for Dior Sauvage. Johnny Depp, who is known for his outlandish fashion sense, revealed that he's aware people see him as some kind of a hobo. However, it's all just an appearance.

Johnny Depp keeps himself smelling fresh thanks to his collaboration with Dior Homme, which he has worked with since 2008, per Us Weekly. But observers note that Depp looked different in his last public outing, prompting some experts to question whether he's actually taking good care of his health. "His lifestyle may have finally caught up with him," said internist Dr. Stuart Fischer, via Radar Online.

Mirror reports that Johnny Depp was seen at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival in February, smiling at the crowd with blackened and crooked teeth. While this might just be prosthetics or makeup and he got away with looking disheveled, his behavior may be sending a different signal.

"This is not the look of a happy man," another doctor, psychotherapist Gilda Carle, told Radar Online. "If he has had a lot of pain in his personal life and his professional life has also nose-dived, his appearance leaves a lot of reason for concern." Both Fischer and Carle have not treated the actor for any condition, but only based their observations from Depp's photographs.

It should be noted that Johnny Depp has done the same stunt before, when he was promoting "Black Mass" in October 2015. The actor showed up at the movie's premiere with a gothic look and his teeth was also blackened, yellowish and crooked, Express reports.
