Laziness can be a person's toughest enemy when you wake up early in the morning. Overcoming laziness is not easy and this can possibly consume one if no action is taken. For some, laziness is just a product of your mind so the solution lies in oneself. 

Being lazy makes one unproductive and sometimes can cause a great loss in life. Here are things that one can do to overcome laziness and jumpstart the day.

1.      Never hit the snooze button.

All of us use our own alarm clock to wake up on time. If only we can be as energetic as our hands in hitting the snooze button, our problem can be solved right away but our body feels too heavy to wake up. Try to force yourself to sit up or stand up once you are awake and don't hit the snooze button. Make it a habit.

2.      Yawn away and stretch your arms up

It is a physiological state that helps shift your body state from sleepiness to wakefulness and vice versa. Stretching up your relaxed muscles can make your body feel energized.

There is something about the color red that attracts attention. If you walk down the street and saw a red car, you sometimes stare at it. Try to add a red accent in your room that is very visible when you wake up from sleep.

4.      Listen up to your favorite good tunes

It is highly recommended to choose those music or songs that will change your mood to something exciting or energetic. Those songs that make you remember good memories is a good choice.

5.      Get enough hours of sleep can solve your laziness problem in the morning.

Sleeping early means waking up early. If you have at least 8 hours of sleep, you won't feel any laziness when you wake up. This is true because it's proven and tested.
