'Jurassic World 2' Release Date, News & Update: No More 'Jurassic World' Park; Dinosaur Soldiers For Second Film

It was a long time before the famous cult film "Jurassic Park" was given a new story but, when it did happen, people were very happy and excited about it. "Jurassic World" was a huge success and it could be seen from how much it earned in the box office.

Now, the filming of "Jurassic World 2" is underway and people are already speculating on how the film will go and a lot of rumors have been going around the internet about "Jurassic World 2". But, what is there to expect on the new "Jurassic" film?

According to some revelations by people from the production theme of "Jurassic World 2," there will be no longer a park wherein dinosaurs were genetically grown and were shown to people and that if they will do this again with "Jurassic World 2" then it will only be repetitive. "It won't be just a bunch of dinosaurs chasing people on an island. That'll get old real fast. This isn't always going to be limited to theme parks, and there are applications for this science that reach far beyond entertainment," Colin Trevorrow explained.

There is also going to be dinosaur soldiers. In the last film "Jurassic World" it seems likely that numerous companies will be creating their own dinosaurs, it was hinted by Henry Wu, one of the geneticist in "Jurassic World." It is very possible that "Jurassic World 2" will not be the last "Jurassic World" movie, and that a third film might come underway and this time it looks like humans and dinosaurs will be living in harmony.

"It will get to be a different kind of film. I feel very strongly that it's not about more dinosaurs or bigger and better dinosaurs, it's about using this as a starting point for a much larger story about our relationship with these animals and about animals in general and the dynamic created by bringing them back to life," Trevorrow added.

"Jurassic World 2" will be released June 2018.
