'Pitch Perfect 3' Cast News, Trailer & Release Date: Rebel Wilson Reunites With Cast For Her Birthday Bash

Some of the cast members of "Pitch Perfect 3" had a mini-reunion during Rebel Wilson's birthday bash and it's aca-amazing!

Six out of the ten members of the Barden Bellas reunited over the weekend to party and show their love for their gal pal, Fat Amy (Wilson), as she celebrated her birthday. Chrissie Fit posted a photo of the girls on her Instagram, which drew a lot of likes and comments from the "Pitch Perfect" fandom. Hailee Steinfeld also posted another photo from the birthday party on her Instagram, with the "Pitch Perfect" girls goofing on the camera.

The images of the mini-reunion should be enough to tide fans over, until "Pitch Perfec 3" officially begins production.

The movie won't be in theaters until August 2017, but it gives the cast and crew plenty of time to prepare for the third installment. Wilson confirmed that they won't shoot until the middle of 2016 in a Parade interview. "It's crazy that our little musical theater lovefest turned into a huge franchise," she remarked about the fans' response to the movie.

Set to return for "Pitch Perfect 3" are the film's lead stars like Anna Kendrick, Anna Camp and Brittany Snow, but ut the cast is hoping a big star would be joining them for the next film. "I think that Taylor Swift would make a great Bella. I really think she would. I think it would be an even bigger movie!" said Camp via E! Online.

Meanwhile, Hollywood Life reports that another big star, Justin Bieber, is also interested about appearing in "Pitch Perfect 3." He's planning on pitching his ideas for the cameo. "Rebel and Justin exchanged pleasantries at the [Jennifer Lopez] concert that consisted of talk about working together and she mentioned that he should do 'Pitch Perfect 3' since they are mutual friends with Adam DeVine," a source said. DeVine is also part of the original movie.

"Pitch Perfect" and its sequel were both box office successes that made a cappella cool among the millennials. The movie also has Elizabeth Banks in the cast and she will be directing the third film.
