'Fallout 4' News & Updates: Why Automatron DLC Will Be Awesome

Bethesda will release the new "Fallout 4" Automatron DLC this March. No planned date for the DLC pack release is officially announced yet.

"Fallout 4" is a great shooter/RPG game. Since its launch, the developer has been busy improving the game's performance and fixing the game's numerous bugs and glitches. However, Bethesda also has some additional content on the horizon with the upcoming DLC packs called Automatron, Wasteland Workshop and Far Harbor.

While the Automatron DLC is scheduled to release this month, the other two will be launched later in April and May respectively. All three DLCs will launch across all "Fallout 4" game platforms on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, according to Gotta Be Mobile.

Movie Pilot reports that the Automatron DLC will be awesome and fans have a good reason to be excited for its release. Automatron is designed to deliver new customizable robot companions across the wasteland of the Boston Commonwealth. Things can get vicious in this game, so the Lone Wanderer really needs a partner that can unleash a similar level of damage.

According to Todd Howard, the first DLC pack for "Fallout 4" will feature Pokémon-style kill robots. Gamers will be able to get their parts and build their own robot companions.

The potential achievements to collect from Automatron were alrady revealed to beta testers thanks to Bethesda's latest patch for "Fallout 4." Several missions will be available including Headhunting, Mechanical Menace, The Most Toys, Restoring Order and Robot Hunter.

Aside from the various customization options and the new quest missions that come with Automatron, the new DLC will also feature Robobrains. These are multi-purpose robots that keep their programs and memories stored inside a partially organic brain. This organic or partially organic brain is located atop their chassis in a domed shell.

Robobrains are considered superior to most robots due to their human brains. They can feature a wider range of functions and their hands can operate most weapons and tools used by humans.
