"Baywatch," which made Pamela Anderson a household name, will make the big screen rounds in a remake. "Baywatch" casts "High School Musical" star Zac Efron and "The Rock" Dwayne Johnson for the lead roles. Also included in the film is Sports Illustrated model Kelly Rohrbach.

According to Daily Mail, work on the comedy film version of "Baywatch" is progressing for Zac Efron, Dwayne Johnson and Kelly Rohrbach. Photos from the "Baywatch" set have been surfacing. Zac Efron's "Baywatch" body has particularly been causing followers to sit up and take notice. Aside from Zac Efron, Kelly Rohrbach has been closely scrutinized for her "Baywatch" role.

Slash Film points out that taking over the role of Pamela Anderson as CJ Parker carries huge expectations for Kelly Rohrbach. While early "Baywatch" photos show that Kelly Rohrbach has the perfect the look as a "Baywatch" babe, fans are now waiting to see if she can pull off the same charm that Pamela Anderson gave as CJ Parker.

"Baywatch" is the first film that will see Kelly Rohrbach in a breakthrough role. Hopes are high that Kelly Rohrbach will live up to the "Baywatch" babe standards that Pamela Anderson created. On her end, Kelly Rohrbach seems confident enough to inherit the iconic "Baywatch" role.

Mirror reports, however, that Pamela Anderson is quite unhappy over the "Baywatch" reboot. Pamela Anderson disclosed in an interview that she was offered a role in the "Baywatch" film but felt very strongly against the remake.

"They called me and asked me to be in it, but I haven't decided yet," Pamela Anderson said. "I don't like remakes of TV shows and I kind of want to leave it as is and be remembered for that."

According to Pamela Anderson, a role in the "Baywatch" film as an old lady manning a counter or similar to that does not hit the spot for her. Still, seeing Pamela Anderson join Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron and Kelly Rohrbach in the "Baywatch" film would be a treat.
