'The Blacklist' Season 3 Air Date, News & Spoilers: Tom's Past As Spy Will Haunt Him & Liz Keen

"The Blacklist" Season 3, which stars Megan Boone as Liz Keen, James Spader as Red Reddington and Ryan Eggold as Tom, temporarily switched off for a short hiatus to return in April. "The Blacklist" Season 3, however, left followers with a juicy teaser for a special "The Blacklist" Season 3 Episode 17 return with "Red Wedding."

According to Entertainment Weekly, Red Reddington will not be the only one coming between Liz Keen and Tom when the "The Blacklist" Season 3 continues. While all signs point to dire times coming for Liz Keen and Tom and their "Red Wedding" in "The Blacklist Season 3," Tom will have one other issue and cast a cloud on his happy ever after with Liz Keen.

Apparently, in "The Blacklist" Season 3 ex-spy Tom will encounter his former handler known as The Major (played by Lance Henriksen). The Major's presence will demand the resolution of certain loose ends concerning Tom. This may, in turn, result to further strain on Tom's relationship with Liz Keen in "The Blacklist" Season 3.

An earlier story from Parent Herald points out that Tom and ex-lover Gina Zanetakos (played by Margarita Levieva) may still be working together. Will Tom find out The Major's involvement in getting him shot a few episodes ago?

Whatever The Major brings in "The Blacklist" Season 3, it will reportedly put Tom and Liz Keen's future together in serious danger. The question is, who will cause the bigger damage to the life that Tom and Liz Keen are trying to build together -- The Major or Red Reddington?

According to Red Reddington, Liz Keen should not believe the change that Tom has been displaying. Apparently, for him, criminals can never really change. As far as Red Reddington is concerned, the marriage between Liz Keen and Tom should never happen even if Liz Keen is pregnant.

"The Blacklist" Season 3 will return on NBC on April 7. The meaning behind Liz Keen's tears in the teaser for "The Blacklist" Season 3 Episode 7 is anyone's guess for now.
