Jennifer Garner On Being A Famous Mom: 'We Just Talk About The Pros And Cons'

Jennifer Garner thinks that her children weren't affected at all by being the offspring of the famous, celebrity parents. Nevertheless, Garner still talks with them about the "pros and cons" of being a celebrity mom.

Getting back on the big screen with her emotional movie, "Miracles From Heaven," Jennifer Garner, after a tough year, sat down with Extra. The "13 Going On 30" star talked about her children - Violet, 10, Seraphina, 7, and Samuel, 4. 43-year-old Jennifer Garner said her kids totally understand that their parents are A-listers but they just somehow talk about the consequences of it.

"They have an understanding of what their parents do for a living and they get it," Garner told Extra. "We just talk about the pros and cons." Garner and Affleck separated last year after being married for more than a decade.

But in spite of their differences, the estranged couple remained good friends for their children. In fact, Ben went all out just to make Sam's 4th birthday extra special, which Garner says she really appreciated.

"We all dressed up, I dressed up as a ninja, and Ben dressed up as Batman for Sam, which was the best dad moment in history," Garner said during the interview. "It was pretty sweet."

Life can sometimes be tough for Garner, especially with her successful career and busy schedules. But despite the overwhelming days, Garner still manages to bounce back joyfully with the help of her friends.

"My girlfriends for sure, and they're everything, and I include my sisters in that," Garner said during the interview. "I think I'm so lucky to have grown up with two sisters because I make my girlfriends my sisters and I make my sisters girlfriends."

Meanwhile, Garner is currently busy with her new movie, "Miracles From Heaven" where Garner plays the character of Christy Beam, the mother of a 10-year-old girl who was diagnosed with incurable disease. At some point of the film, Christy's faith to God has been tested. Nevertheless, she still received a miracle from God.

The movie is so inspiring that it even inspired Garner to attend church services with her kids just like she did when she was growing in West Virginia. "I hadn't been participating in giving them some kind of ground under them in the way that my parents had done for me," Garner told E! News. "I just expected them to have it because I do."

"Miracles From Heaven" will hit theaters on March 16.
