'The Division' News & Update: Online Game's Leveling System Similar to 'Destiny'

A Reddit user named ChristianRiesen leaked that "The Division's" leveling system is the same as that of "Destiny's."  According to Game Rant, Ubisoft's third-person shooter game works just like Bungie's "Light Levels."

"The Division's" leveling system allows gamers to continuously grow even if they already reached the soft level of cap 30 by using higher ended gears. Also, players can still see their Gear Scores and match it up with other players, who made it to the top level, through a profile system.

According to the leak, "The Division's" leveling system also allows players to advance their gear level and boost their total Gear Score. By doing this, the players can have access to the most "dangerous and high-end challenges."

"Your Average Gear Score can be found in the main menu and is visible to other players. It is the average value of all equipped gear pieces," the leak added. "The Division's" leveling system also has the item-trading system and the daily and weekly missions, which can also be seen in 'Destiny.'"

The assignments can be played when the gamers are already logged in "The Division." However, the game's objectives are only available for a limited time. The tasks have different conditions that will ask the players to play solo or by group in Combat, Dark Zone and Crafting places.

"The Division" went live yesterday and has already faced a slight issue. Eurogamer reports that some gamers are trolling other players by standing in the doorway of the game's opening safehouse.

Hence, "The Division" players have a hard time to get the pass through the door and start their game, per Kotaku. To solve this tiny glitch, players need to keep running into other gamers until their characters can finally get out. "The Division" was released on March 8 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
