Janet Jackson Tour: 'Escapade' Singer Denies Cancer as Cause of Tour Cancelation

"Together Again" singer Janet Jackson left a lot of excited fans wondering about her canceled European leg of her world tour "Unbreakable." Janet Jackson is supposed to tour in the U.K., Ireland, Germany and France. Janet Jackson also postponed 29 of her U.S. shows but assured fans that cancer was not the reason.

According to Daily Mail, Janet Jackson postponed her scheduled US shows on the "Unbreakable" world tour to undergo surgery. Jackson moved the "Unbreakable" US shows to July and August. Meanwhile, no new dates have been announced by Jackson or her representatives for the European shows.

Fans, however, have been advised not to panic as Jackson assures that she does not have cancer and that it was not the reason for her surgery. However, the songstress did not go into the details about her health condition.

Janet Jackson is supposed to be kicking off the European leg of her "Unbreakable" world tour with a March 30 show in Birmingham, U.K. From there, Jackson was supposed to bring the "Unbreakable" world tour to London, Glasgow and Manchester. Fans who have bought tickets to see Janet Jackson in "Unbreakable" are being refunded.

"The event organisers have been in touch to let us know that, due to scheduling difficulties, they've had to postpone the 'Unbreakable' tour," Ticketmaster stated. "It is not possible to confirm new dates at the present time so we are refunding all ticket holders."

Sky News reports that Janet Jackson seemed positive in the statement she released after her surgery. According to the singer, she has been recovering well so much so that her doctors allowed her to resume the "Unbreakable" world tour. Janet Jackson also promised that the postponed US shows for her "Unbreakable" world will be rescheduled.

Janet Jackson has not released any new information on her website. Similarly, Jackson's social media pages have also remained silent about news on her health and the "Unbreakable" world tour.
